Another shot of the jetty. The sunrise and the high clouds produced a nice array of pastels. It wasn’t cold this morning, which made getting out and about easy going. I’ve only done Deepwater Point once before – a summer evening a couple of years ago. Too many people and dogs about. But this morning, being a Sunday, it was nice, quiet, and it felt almost as if I had the whole place to myself. Happy with the result.

On the right behind the stockyard is the shearing shed, which this morning is full of activity. It’s Sunday and the shearers hadn’t finished, so they’re here again this morning. Oh… and the shearing has attracted a lot of flies!

•March 2, 2009 • 1 CommentIt’s 7:00 in the morning and a storm was begining to brew. One moment it was all monochrome, and then suddenly the sun broke through the clouds lighting up the foreground and the old truck. But only for one minute. After that the sun went behind the clouds again, and for the rest of the day it was just grey and stormy.
